Terms of Service

By creating an account, downloading the app, browsing the website, or otherwise using Hatchi, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Hatchi.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hatchi. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must also have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Hatchi is permitted under the laws that apply to you.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account information up to date, and promptly notify HatchiStudio if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not:

You retain rights in content you create in Hatchi, such as goal text, profile information, and pet names, to the extent permitted by law.

You grant HatchiStudio a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support Hatchi.

Hatchi, the HatchiStudio brand, the website, the app design, graphics, software, and related materials are owned by HatchiStudio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you except for the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

HatchiStudio may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict any part of Hatchi at any time, with or without notice.

HatchiStudio may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or are required to be restricted by law.

Hatchi is currently offered as a free service. HatchiStudio may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or digital items in the future.

If paid features are introduced, additional pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms may apply and will be presented at the time of purchase.

Hatchi is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HatchiStudio disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

HatchiStudio does not guarantee that Hatchi will always be available, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that data loss will never occur.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HatchiStudio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of Hatchi.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of HatchiStudio for claims arising out of or relating to Hatchi will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to HatchiStudio for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose or CAD $50.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Subject to applicable consumer protection law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or Hatchi will be brought before the courts located in Quebec, Canada.

HatchiStudio may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Hatchi after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
